I am going on a week long vacation to Italy, then taking a cruise up to Greece. I am 18 years old and have dressed like a teenager most of my life until the past few months I have bought some better clothes and I really like the way I look and feel in them. I am new to "Men's Fashion" and want to know what are some clothes combinations I can wear to look good on a cruise and in Italy I am going for a more casual look. I am thinking maybe some casual button down shirts that I can wear with cargo shorts, but I don't know a good brand.

PS I practically know nothing, so If you use any lingo I probably wont understand sorry.

Europeans are more dressy than Americans. So linen pants, khakis wore with polo tees or linen shirts are recommended. Shorts will be appropriate on the cruise but not in some Italian churches.

I always travel with at least one sport coat. It will come in handy for evening functions. So bring along a linen or tropical wool unlined S.C.

A collapsible Panama hat will add a dash of style in addition to shielding you from the hot Southern European sun.

Have fun.
