What to wear in the gym?

I beg pardons from you all, but if a lounge suit was developed for the beach, then it is good enough for the indoor gym! Just be sure to get a light-weight linen for high-intensity days. Plus, after you bench press, your jacket may wrinkle; no worries, a quick 5 minutes in the sauna, and you will be good as new and ready to continue your workout. Also, always keep an eye on your Brigg in there: guys will pilfer them when your in the middle of a set. I'm thinking about switching my Panama out for a safari hat so that it'll stay on during push-ups. Just no tophats or homburgs please; after all, this is not a formal occasion.

And if all that doesn't work for you, then I'd have to go with the second best choice: what they all said!

edit: exactly what shakermaker said.

+1. I wore an old t-shirt, shorts, and shoes when I used the gym. I wanted to get in, do what I needed to do, and depart. Looking spiffy wasn't part of my agenda.
