Forgot to mention a hat. I'm light skinned with thick blonde hair but the sun will still find a way to pierce through and burn my scalp. Burnt ears, nose and forehead are no fun either. Get yourself a panama style but don't lash out a lot of money as it might blow off into water, get sat on, swamped with a damp towel etc. I have a dress fedora style panama but for the beach I have a more rigid pork pie style which cost about $45.

^You also forgot to mention that it also makes you stand out like "Hi I'm gringo, please rob me"

Luckily OP is going to a very safe destination.

It's your honeymoon, all you need is some KY and maybe some slippers.

You are going to Aruba . . . on your honeymoon . . . and you are interested in what a bunch of people on the internet think you should wear? If this whole honeymoon thing isn't going to be completely wasted on you, you need a complete re-alignment of priorities.

1. Gringo = American. I'm English.
2. Gringo is a term used by Mexicans. Aruba belongs to the Netherlands.
3. Aruba has every shade of people: black, Asian, creole, Anglo

Other than that, good point, well made.
