For your reference, I'm 25, indian IT dude, but I try to dress fairly decently when i go out. This coming month, I will be taking acrylic painting class (all members are over 18) and I expect there to be a few women there, so I want to look decent and practical. Any recommendations? For your reference, here is a half purposely blurred pic, the white dots on my pants are actually due to heavy smudges on the mirror. Edit: this is my first thread....

I used to go to art class and paint with acrylic every day. This is what I usually wore:

May I also suggest a smoking jacket or short robe as a painting smock?

isnt that too much, Willsw?

I'm thinking of wearing a well used purple party shirt and a black pair of jeans now

Don't wear anything you don't mind getting paint on, your pic looks just fine.

Upon further examination, I find your explanation to be plausible. At first I thought you were standing on books just to look taller.

Are you kidding me? Whatever you do, if you're interested in one of them, don't mention that you had to ask on the internet what to wear to art class.
