What to wear clubbing in Manhattan this Spring?

I'm in the market for a nice outfit I can wear to go clubbing when I'm in in Manhattan this Spring. I'm thinking a sports coat/blazer that I can pair with dark jeans (Levis 511). I do not want it to be very formal (so no suits or ties), and something I can wear in Spring (when its still kinda cold) hence I'll need a coat/jacket. Any suggestions for what stores I should try? I would prefer going to stores and trying them on rather than ordering stuff online.
