Accurate titles?

You're asking for articles of clothing, not articles about clothing?

Either way, I think you have to target your questions more. What you want to know is fairly ambiguous in your request.

I took this to mean, articles OF clothing. In any garment:
Detail, detail, detail . . . that's what separates the best, from the rest.

more than anything else: it is the DETAIL work, that will tell the story. If the details are done to perfection, the rest of the garment is likely to be well made. Couturier work always looks, simple . . . but try and make it.

clean execution...if i am buying a 50 dollar pair of chinos to wear on a trip to the beach or a 1500 suit i want the execution to be clean and crisp.

I look for functional features...butterfly crotch pieces, ticket pockets, half lined to the knee...but notice weight and type of lining does it match trouser weight or is it just coat lining??

trouser must have soft wst bands...nothing stiff.

Shirts i look for soft collar bands, well mitered yokes and sleeve plackets etc
