What to do in DC for two days?

Other than museums, what do you recommend to do in DC for two nights?

Any suggestions welcome.

If anybody knows if it's possible to go on a tour of the Capital, please let me know.

Walk the Mall, but you should do it before sunset.

Yes but I think you have to arrange it through a senator or rep's office.

BTW, it's very overrated.

The intern who gave me my tour was bloody gorgeous. And watching a Senate vote on war funding was neat.

I agree. Other than visiting Sky Valet, I tend to pass on visiting Georgetown when I'm in DC.

It's almost impossible to get hired on the Hill if you're ugly. When you see an unattractive staffer, assume he/she's utterly brilliant as his/her job.

You were lucky you got to tour during a vote.
