Styleforum has ruined me, everything at the mall looks gross to me now. What can I buy with a $75 gift card?

(besides a $75 Starbucks card, which has crossed my mind)

    Pretty typical stores [IMG] :

    Macy's
    Penneys
    Gap
    Express
    Abercrombie
    American Eagle
    Guess
    Lucky
    Clarks
    Apple

No H&M, Zara, Urban Outfitters, J. Crew, Brooks Brothers, Bergdorf, or Neiman Marcus? If not, bummer. If so, I have plenty of advice (you'd be surprised at how much cool shit you can do with Brooks Bros. in streetwear fits).

Gap has some decent enough selvage denim, and carries Purcells and Chucks. They've slimmed down their cut a bit, and some of their spring buttondowns are ok. You could also probably get some Levi's or maybe Ben Sherman stuff at Macy's. Clarks desert boots have a pretty big following here on SF.

I'd probably get the coffee, though.

What WMMK said - or put it towards an iPod Nano or Touch. Or better yet - buy books! Most American malls still have bookstores, yeh?

I don't think people realize how many malls have none of these options. I would have to drive several hours to get to a mall that did. The closest mall with a Macys is in Kansas City/St Joseph Missouri IIRC. There might be something in Iowa, but I am not curious enough to find out.

If it is a mall gift certificate you should be able to cash it in at the guest services desk. I would do this and spend the money somewhere you want to spend it, instead of trying to spend 75$ anyway you can on crap you don't really want or need.

Yeah, I have none of those stores. Can you really exchange these for cash? I didn't think they'd let me do that. Also, already own APCs, Beeswax Desert boots.
