What tie with a white shirt with black pinstripes?

I have a white shirt with very thin black pinstripes. I will be wearing black pants. What color tie should I wear with that combo?

Go for a Navy Knit Tie. Because your shirt already has stripes, adding texture will only benefit your look...

whoa, whoa, whoa. Nothing wrong with black stripes as long as it is not a butcher stripe.

Just wear a skinny black tie. It would be fitting with your look. If you go trying to spice things up with a classic tie with that ensemble it is going to look ridiculous rather than trendy, which is probably what you are going for.

Also what color jacket will you wear? Am I the only one that feels like only waiters and NASA workers wear ties without jackets?
