Ebonyman, nice jacket. They must have put more out; I need something grey or blue.

Ebonyman - What is the shoulder padding like? And are they roped or set in?

The padding is VERY minimal and the shoulders are set in. Although I appreciate the workmanship that goes in to "roping", I'm not a big fan of the somewhat raised shoulder that results.

The DC SC lines and drape are really just about perfect in my view.

The colors are actually brown, beige and a muted blue.

Thanks! I also prefer a set-in shoulder with minimal padding.

I'm going to go check them out.

Just a quick PSA - At least down here in Philly, the liquidators have moved in and have started discounting -- all menswear items are now an additional 10% off.

    Guy321,

I love the blog you write and follow it religiously. Post up more pictures of the hauls you get - I love seeing the items you pick up. I assume you have the best knowledge of when the stuff drops + access to all the stores and therefore the best picks.

Put up some pictures when you get a chance - thanks again for the blog. Daffy's will be missed.

I had posted that on the Twitter feed. It is a brand called Fugato, made by a company called Papa & Sons Srl, out of Italy, but no one in the States carries their merchandise from what I know. They mainly do business in Japan. If everything works out well, I may have some of it available for sale in October, but I'm still working on that.

I e-mailed the NY showroom to see if this is still for sale - no response so far.

Is Daffy's getting more merchandise? Think the best items are pretty cleaned out right now

At the bottom of the ad, it states that non-Daffy's merchandise has been added to the sale?!

Is that clothing tagged differently from the Daffy's stuff?

I also tried to e-mail the NYC showroom but to no avail. You may not have realized it, but after you send the e-mail, it states in Italian "internal server error."

Perhaps that didn't happen to you - but I don't think their website is fully functional.

I e-mailed them through their "contact" page.

Damn...I'm broke till payday!!! Oh well, my wife will be happy that I simply WILL NOT max the credit card over this. Hopefully some decent items will still be available next week.
