What summer shoes do you wear with shorts and untucked short sleeve shirt?

I like Seavees, Tretorn, Quoddy, or Rancourt for shoes with an outfit like that.

I detest flip flops and any sort of leather sandals.

True dat skipper but they look like they may have a boat shoe sole.

Forgot about Seavees, I have a pair I throw in for errands in the summer, they could work too.

Point taken cptjeff. I guess boat shoes proper tend to have laces etc. - I just lumped them all together. The soles may also deviate from the Sperry ideal, but are white and generally in the ballpark.

They're comfy enough shoes, for $20 or so.

I don't do khaki shorts. My shorts are white, light blue, or red.
I also do not own a polo shirt. Too banal. Antithetical to the SF ethos.

Normally, I hate loafers. They're for grandpa.
I like these. Good color and exposed stitching.
Got a link to the site and coupon? What did you pay?

Wait, $20? If you're willing to post a link, I may need a pair of those.

I usually go for the Pantone Seavees or my current favorite mesh Rivieras....all of which I have far too many colors in. The Rivieras are perfect to go sockless in and are the most comfortable casual sneakers I own.

I discovered Rivieras about this time last year and went on a hunt for them but couldn't find them anywhere. That's when I settled on Seavees instead. Where'd you get yours?

I got all my Seavees from Gilt when they were pushing a ton of the Pantone and I've been lucky with Rivieras on sale at ASOS and Mr Porter. If you're not adverse to retail on the Rivieras, you can always find a decent selection here: http://www.gargyle.com/designers/men/rivieras.html.
