This is from Moreschi's web site. (Style: Villa)
They call it a "timeless" design French bal? (Balmoral?)
I see the variation on the wingtip, but have not run across something quite like this.
$ 495 retail /rubber sole, i believe

I'd appreciate any insight and opinions.

That shoe is a hybrid I have never seen before.

That's an "˜Adelaide' a classic English shoe style where the lacing section is set into a "˜window'. This picture is from Cleverley's site, but most RTW have a variation in their catalogue and all bespoke shoemakers can do it.

Here is a sample from EG, the Southwold, an Adelaide with a (short) wingtip:

Moreschi has extended the "˜window' down to the wingtip and has come up with their design.

it is just moreschi's unique design on a bal wingtip.
i saw that exact same shoe at gary's in newport beach and it is not as good as the picture imo.
the shoe does have a rubber sole, or if i remember a black rubber overlay on the sole.? the leather is not the best quality and it was priced at 495 i believe but not worth that price.
