So far:

Uniqlo
RRL
APC

What else? My budget is pretty low. I am a little on the slim side.

H&M?
Century 21/Filene's Basement?

Also, which locations should I visit for each store?

your options are to buy a couple really nice things or to buy a lot of cheaper stuff (false dichotomy woooo!!)

personally i would buy a pair of jeans at blue in green, and t shirts at uniqlo/h&m.

Blue in Green (on Greene St) and 5th floor @ Barney's (on Madison Ave). Blue in Green, while having quality merchandise, also generally has a ton of jeans on sale. Barney's just has a ton of stuff from reputable brands.

Soho is the place to go for shopping. Here's a a helpful map (from Superfuture.com):

Supreme (probably out of the price range, but a nice store regardless.)

+1 on soho. Id say just take a cab (or walk, depending on where you are) to the corner of broadway and houston, then walk up and down broadway greene and mercer. Also, canal st has a ton of...interesting...stuff if you wanna take a look around.

Whatever you do, do not go to canal street!

Places I like to definitely hit up when I go:
Uniqlo
APC
Blue In Green
Nom De Guerre
Rag and Bone (Havn't checked this out yet)
Agnes B
J. Lindeberg
Odin
Jack Spade
Opening Ceremony
RRL
Dave's Quality Meats (Although I can't remember the last time I bought something from here)

Thats about it

I might try to hit up the JIL Store this saturday to see what there is...

in addition to the ones mentioned...

check out Unis...I havent been there myself (the brand wasnt on my radar last time I was in NYC) but after having gotten a few shirts and trews over the past year I'm a big fan and def want to check this out

maybe rumor....but I heard that Fred Perry opened (is opening) a shop in NYC, to be followed by one in LA within a year.

If you're in SoHo you gotta go to the Paul Smith store, even if you dont like PS it's a rad store

Jean Shop store in SoHo is also worth a visit, really cool place.

also, Famous Friends near Tompkins Park is the original awesome denim shop in NYC before BiG moved in

I think Midtown has some great shops, but that depends on one's taste and preference. I dig Bergdorf, Barneys, Gant, Brooks Bros, Testoni...more city gent **** than streetwear, but nice shops for sure.
