The Roaches self-titled album

as in The Hammond Song ? I sat down with it it was interesting . a couple of very analog choices , I play aja a lot , what a smooth album .

have you heard weather report heavy weather ? that would be an interesting one that I think would challenge certain systems .

more recently I think daft punk's RAM album would be a very good demo , it has a lot in it and super clean . Kanye graduation is another .

Too many. I got a lot before I got the one I should have got from the beginning, Technics RS1500.

I have 2 Akai GX4000Ds (don't ask), a Teac X1000R ( I think) and a PR99 somewhere. Oh, a couple of those old valve Revox's, a couple of crappy portables too (when I should have got a Nagra).

Yeah Hammond is on that one. The vocal harmonies and soundstage on that whole record are incredible.

I also love Mingus Mingus Mingus by… Charles Mingus as a reference.

Never listened to Weather Report
