What socks w/ blue jeans? ...

Can I wear my brown/mocha AEs with blue jeans? If so, what would the acceptable sock colors be?

Either exciting colours argyles etc. (although I personally can't stand argyle)that reference something else you are wearing, or if you want to tone it down a blue or (so I have heard) dark grey sock will not stand out.
I find lighter navy socks are pretty much the same colour as dark unwashed blue denim, if you look around you should be able to find some blue that match your jeans.

My preferred socks are a blue and brown argyle pattern which picks up the brown of my shoes and the blue of my denim.
