Depends on the brand. In AA/Paul Smith t-shirts, I am a small.

On the other hand, APC 1 is big on me in the chest area...

Also, you haven't accounted for the different way people like their clothes to fit. For all you know, everyone is the same size, but a disproportionate number of of people like really tight clothes, and another group likes really baggy clothes.

Some shirts I like to have small, some shirts I like medium. Some shirts I buy based on how I intend on layering it. All in all there really isn't a specific size for me.

There should be a poll like this for denim sizes.

I like my gear real fitted...but depending on who made it, I have stuff that ranges from XS all the way up to Large.

but traditionally speaking, I should be a size med, but on the smaller side of 'medium'

I don't like wearing size small shirts by themselves, 'cause then I feel like a skater. Not saying skaters are bad, just I don't skate XD

I usually buy things in large, but American stuff will usually be far too big in this size.

I wear a size 40, 50 Euro. 34 inch waist.

It surprises me just how small most guys are on these forums.

Somewhere between medium, large, and extra large, depending on the garment. I wear size large t shirts at H&M, but a size small old navy jacket is big on me.

I'm a medium in the European/Japanese stuff, in the US stuff it's usually a small. Really depends on each piece—sometimes even in the European/Japanese stuff I need a small.

I wear 30-31 jeans, 34 inseam (or to be preciese—33).

I'm a medium in most non-mass market brands. With a 39 chest and a 30 waist, I am between a 48-50 EU in most European brands (48 in brands sized larger, like CP Company, and 50 in brands like Costume National and Jil Sander, though in their outerwear, I will size down occasionally if I don't intend to layer much.)

Anyone who wears anything larger than a medium at Old Navy is either Shaq, or morbidly obese. Of course, the average American guy apparently has a 36 inch waist. To me, if you have a 36" waist and are under 6', you either need to lose a few pounds or are a powerlifter.

I have a 46" chest and 36" waist (I suppose that makes me average on that measurement at least) so sometimes a large but mostly XLs.

Hmmm, so you're Shaq.

What brand makes a large that fits a 46" chest? That's massive. Are their mediums for people with 44" chests?

More mainstream brands do sometimes but that's generally only for knit items (e.g. sweaters, sweatshirts) that will stretch out a bit to fit over my chest/shoulders.

With a 10" drop and a size that's on the very edge of most designers' collections, let me tell you that it's quite a pain ********** finding clothing that fits well.

I have a 49" chest, 36" waist, 36" inseam. I usually wear an xxl tall (I'm 6'6"). Shopping for clothes is an enormous challenge since most stuff in my size it cut for fat people. I'm usually relegated to buying the most mainstream brands out there. It's really depressing for me when I see t-shirts I like, but they aren't made larger than a XL.
