I i my measurements and my chest is around a 36-37 and my waist is around a 34 or 35

The sizing guide from AA.net says i should be a mediumish chest with a small waist so what size should i buy?

im also about 6 feet tall, so im used to things fitting kid of short on me

So you generally wear a small in tshirts but a size 34 or 35 in jeans? It's hard to tell with those proportions. I'm 6ft 165 lbs and between a medium and small in most clothes. I wear smalls and mediums in AA depending on what it is. Mediums after all the shrinking usually works best as AA stuff certainly shrinks when washed. AA quality control is pretty bad, as some mediums are the same size as smalls and so on. Try it on if you can.

I wear a medium in AA hoodies and there's still just enough movement room in it. The sleeves are long enough -- I'm 6'1. It can be a ***** to get on the pullover ones though, because of how fitted they are. Zip version or size up is my advice if you have any concerns about that. And yeah, if there's one in town you should definitely try them on if possible. I haven't had many problems ordering from one of the eBay AA resellers, but some people have with regards to fit.

Good luck. They can make nice things, but indeed, their sizing can fluctuate a lot. Be prepared for about 1" shrinkage off the bottom and proportionately everywhere else, by the way.

Yeah, dryer is a no no. You want to hang them to dry or dry them on delicate cycle every now and then. Although really, all my stuff never shrank that much. They say only white and black items really shrink by a number. It's the fit that suffers. the stitching is all crooked after drying.

There is an AA store in the University District right next to the UW Seattle campus.

It sounds like you have a smallish chest with a medium to large waist, and yet tall at 6 ft.

I would guess medium. I wear medium or large and they are not too baggy. People accuse me of wearing "tight clothing" even on the L. You can probably work with either size.

Small is too small though. My guess.

Yeah, you'll need a medium with your waist size. I have a 32-33" waist and the medium is snug there.

BTW, there is also one on Capitol Hill on like John & Broadway, I think.

I don't mind that so much. It allows me to actually keep my hands warm in the kangaroo pocket.
