What should this Oxxford sell for?

Perhaps that's because you haven't read his other 1,000+ one sentence posts here and on AAAC saying exactly the same two things i.e. "anything not Kiton or Brioni is crap.... eBay is too pricey you can buy better goods at lower price in B&M stores..."

That pretty much covers the extent of his contributions on the fora.

No wait! He does provide a link to his pointless and narcissistic blog.

Let's not get too personal and be fair! KB doesn't like only Kiton, and Brioni. I don't feel like going to the Search function right now but I seem to remember KB saying he has over 50 pair of Doc Martens. So he probably doesn't think Doc Martens are crap.

And I for one also enjoy his Blog. It's sort of like Hugh Heffner doing a Blog on his girlfriends. The absolute finest, top of the line stuff! But you wonder if the Blogger is getting much use out of his subjects!

As to Ebay, I don't know. Maybe KB doesn't need it, nor care for it! If he acquired all of his Kitons and Brionis, at B & M sales, then more power to him! And if he bought all those Kitons and Brionis at full retail, then MUCH more power to him!

KM: Keep on posting and Blogging!

I'd note that the seller identified the condition as "excellent" rather than "new" or "new with tags", which certainly could lead someone glancing quickly at the listing to the wrong conclusion.

Although the listing itself is "Oxxford NWT Navy Blue Herringbone Men's Suit 44R", clearly identifying "NWT".

The title of the auction describes the suit as NWT - that means New With Tags. All the pics show an unaltered suit, with visible tags and basting stitching. Also, this is the THIRD NWT Oxxford suit that he's made the 'too expensive for a used suit' comment about, in as many days.

And that a NWT suit would be in "excellent" condition is axiomatic.

well, you could have a NWT suit that isn't in very excellent condition - such as one with a moth-hole or rip or something. it's new, it has tags, but wouldn't be excellent.

True, but the presumption would be that a NWT suit would be in excellent condition.

That is a presumption that many make and than they become sorry they ever heard of Ebay.

On Ebay you presume something at your own peril. Excepting the relatively small number of honest, professional and conscientious Ebay sellers, most of home post on these fora, the caveat is presume nothing and suspect that much of what is written is probably misspoken.

Do you have any reason to assume the seller of the suit in question does not fall into this category?

I've bought from him, and IMO he does. Therefore, if he lists a suit as NWT and in excellent condition, I have reason to believe his description is accurate.

You were making a broader statement earlier. You said that you presumed a NWT suit would be in excellent condition.

You did not say: "I know this seller and he is honest and btw, he said this suit was in excellent condition" which is what you are now saying.

I stand by my general statement. You assume on Ebay at your own peril.

No, you assumed I was making a broader statement. My comments were confined to the topic in this thread, namely the Oxxford suit in question and the seller thereof.

Now I do understand that you meant the above quoted comment to refer to this seller who in fact did also claim the suit is in "excellent" condition.
