What should I get my (currently long-distance) girlfriend for her birthday?

Previously, I've given her (shared) experiences, but since we're not in the same place right now (and on different continents), I'm not sure what to do.

Can you guys toss me some reasonably priced ideas? I'm a student.

Have you already considered the obvious? No, not a banana! That might get damaged on the way.
Seriously:
Where is she right now? Maybe something, you could do simultanously, even though you are on different continents. When is her birthday? Have you got time enough for a nice photograph-album?

Double Vacuum pack a medley of your finest botanicals.

Remember the rules: 6 months = an eight, year = a quarter, 2 years = an o.

Depends on how much you're willing to spend. Here's an idea, send her a digital picture frame and preload it with pictures of the two of you together (maybe even the occasional Appreciation pic just to spice things up)
Or a chasidy belt, or a pony, or a stripper... somehow thou they're just not the same

Perfume, every time she puts it on or notices the scent throughout the day she will (hopefully) think of you..

If the plane ticket is too rich for your budget, maybe a webcam ?

I think this is one instance in which a Dick In a Box would be a bad idea.
