So Plal and C&J are replacing my Aintrees that tore at the seam. C&J came back and said it appeared it was skived too thin.

if you guys remember

They don't want the defective pair back for whatever reason, so what do you guys think I should do with them. I wore them the other day just for fun and you really can't tell they are messed up, especially when walking, but obviously I am going to have a new pair on hand.

Should I donate them, sell them, dissect them, give them a firey death, blow them up with some M80s??

Make these shoes your crap pair to wear when you go out that you won't care if drinks get spilled on or get scuffed up.

Sell them, split the proceeds into three envelopes, address one to Chrysler, one to Ford, one to GM...

I would get them fixed and wear them. I would love a pair of free, beater CJs which look brand new.

Best thing is to ask you local cobbler how much it would take to fix it. If its cheap, then fix it and use it as spare. If it cost alot, then sell them here for peanuts with link to your posts about this defective CJ.
