my haircut right now looks like this one, just a little shorter hair length:

i want to grow out my hair to this style:

so what should i do to get my hair to grow like that? basically how should i start brushing my hair and where should i let it grow to make it turn into the one in the second picture?

oh and my hair grows straight out of my head until it starts to grow longer and is a little curly in the front when my hair is down.

thanks guys

Why would you want to look like a delicate little boy?

My advice would be to not cut your hair. It seems like the logical way to get it longer.

I don't know. Seems too easy.

1) Grow your hair out.

2) Find a decent stylist/barber and bring a picture of what you want. That way they won't have to guess what you have in mind.

You should go to your stylist and show them a pic of the way you want your hair to be in the future. Then he/she can cut it so that it grows out the right way. If you just let it grow out the way you have it cut now, it will not end up looking like the second pic. Also, you need to go back every 6 weeks or so to get it "shaped up" to keep it growing the way you want it.

This also helps it from looking like a mess during the awkward grow-out phase.

why don't you ask your "friends" how they got their girly-boys haircuts?
