1. I'd like to announce that animated avatars are now available again. You'll have to reload, but they are once more possible.

    We've been doing a ton of work behind the scenes. The site load speed was already under 1/2 of what Huddler's was, on average, and we installed cloudflare, which means that the site should be even faster. A ton more will go on in the weeks and months to come, and some things will be more visibile, and some less.

What shoes to wear with long sleeve button down shirt and nice jeans?

    I need some help! I own several expensive button down shirts (long sleeve) like Bugatchi Uomo and i wear it with a nice pair of jeans like True religion or 7 for mankind. where i am having issues is what type of shoes do you wear with this outfit? i have no idea what type of shoes to buy for this combination. Please help!
    I wear this out not to work so its more a causual type of dressing up.

    Calfskin or Cordovan Plain-toe Bluchers (Dark brown)
    Suede, Calfskin or Cordovan Wingtips / Long-wing Bluchers (Dark Brown or Walnut)
    Sleek Brown Suede, Calfskin, or Cordovan Penny Loafers
    High quality Calfskin Boat Shoes (Oak Street Bootmakers, Quoddy, etc.)
    Nice pair of mid-range boots (Alden, Redwing, Wolverine, etc.)

    Completely up to you. I wear something similar.
    In the summer I usually wear suede chukkas. In the winter I go with Alden boots or a decent pair of dress shoes, usually wing tip.

    If you are going out you also have the same problem I do which is people stepping on your nice shoes. So I get a pair that can take more of a beating then my normally finely polished dress shoes.

    Great advice ... Thanks for the links i really like the the links... nice shoes. So what are the best jeans these days? i thought True Religion were still good?

    Main reason i made this post is i always get complements on my shirts and pants but the shoes people always question lol
