My shoe collection is almost complete, and I am looking to acquire the following models:

1. Slim, brown chukka boot. I have been obsessed with this shoe ever since Andrew Harris posted a picture of his Vass chukka boot on the U last. I think the C&J Tetbury is a good, budget-conscious choice.

2. Brown suede oxford. I have a pair of oxfords in tobacco suede, but don't have the flair to wear them with a suit, so I'm looking for a pair in darker brown. The C&J Drummond in mink suede seems to fit the bill.

3. Waterproof country boot. The C&J Snowdon looks like a good bet.

This list is subject to change based upon what EG puts on sale in late December.

I'd like a EG Montpellier or Sloane -- or if there is another lined, high-vamp EG loafer with skin-stitched toe and handstitched apron a la Dover or Harrow. EG has a lot of loafer models but none others quite seem to fit this -- the RLPL Barkesdale/Winchelsea apron is not stitched like that of the Dover, for instance; the Piccadilly has a machine-stitched apron; the Buckingham appears to be unlined...

I wouldn't mind a Vass U-last or F-last loafer, and I'd like to try St Crispin's, but there's no retailer near me and I'd like to try them before purchasing.

A few for weekend wear - Dover in nutmeg suede on the 606, Vass Budapester on the Budapest last in dark brown, Vass Alt Wien on the Budapest last in burgundy. Yeah, and whatever gets my attention on the EG sale list...
