What shoe would you pick in an one shoe wardrobe?

Well since it is only once shoe, and not a pair of shoes, I would take the right shoe that Obama was wearing while he took the oath. I would then sell it on ebay and have my legs cut off and replaced with a hover system.

No, that would involve punching all the holes except for one.

Alden Bootmaker cigar shell captoe bals with natural soles. The captoe is formal; the soles and color are good with anything from jeans to suits.

And I'd second the chelsea vote; my chisel toe Scaforas in brown work with everything.

Prada America's Cup solid black. I've worn these with every outfit I own, including suits... on my wedding day

Without a doubt, Monkstraps for me.

+1 Aesthetics
+1 Versatility

The question though is whether it would be a pair of Lobb Chapels, EG/RLPL Grants, or EG Wellands MTO, or EG Westminsters MTO? I couldn't answer that at the moment.

Would find a one (pair of) shoe(s) wardrobe a difficult concept to live with. If I was limited to a single pair of work shoes they would probably be my G&G Hayes, with a peak cap and diamond punching on the MH71 last, in black calf. Or maybe a pair of W.S. Foster bespoke, 4 eyelet, cap toe oxfords in black calf.

If allowed a second, weekend, pair I would go with my EG Lommond chukka boots on the 82 last, in antiqued burgundy.
