Inspired by foo's thread. Which shoe would you pick in an one shoe wardrobe? It could be RTW, MTO, or bespoke. Which maker, model, color, last...? And why?

If I had to have only one shoe in my closet (as oppossed to 6 pairs of the same shoe because I refuse to subscribe to such an idea) I would have a black box calf, plain toe, 3-eyelet derby, round waist, bespoke by either Delos, Gomez or Lobb Paris. Am I allowed a pair of sneakers? If so, then a pair of Adidas Superstar. Actually, no a pair of Patrick.

I'd take also a 3 (or 2) eyelet derby, but in chestnut.
What about making this a poll? Would be interesting.

I wouldn't have only one shoe in my closet. But if I had to (which I don't) it may be this, but in a very dark brown leather.

I would go with the Alden #8 cordovan monk strap, with the Alden #8 cordovan plain toe blucher a close second.

I wouldn't have only one style in my closet, but I do have a few styles in multiple colors. If I had to have only one, then similar to Mafoofan, I'd likely choose a shell longwing, in black.

But someone forgot to punch all the little holes in it.
