Agreed, but she does not care. The day our new baby arrives, she will be 'reunited' with her heels. I think you could reasonably compare it with us not being allowed to wear leather shoes for 9 months. .
NOte that she may find her feet no longer fit in her former shoes. I mention it only because you may consider preparing her psychologically for the possibility that her feet will have widened permanently due to the weight of the pregnancy. And you may want to prepare financially for the possibility of a heel-restocking event.
