Hey guys! Just wanted your thoughts on what colour shirt/polo would go well with the combination below.

I thought about maybe a long-sleeve polo or roll neck like this:

But during summer, I'd much rather wear a shirt, and have been considering a simple white shirt or maybe a Navy washed shirt or a chambray like this:

Opinions? Suggestions? Cheers!

Seems almost more gray than olive, at least on my monitor. I think just about any shirt color would complement nicely. If it were a more yellow-green shade of olive, I might have been more specific.

Thanks for the reply! I might try a post a fit pic for reference. They do have a bit of a gray hue to them, but are actually rather green, but I couldn't for the life of me get it to show up in the picture!

With a dull dark blue, for example. Black (as a camp shirt or something similar) would look good, for the wearer who looks good in black. White would be fine, though probably not the typical dress shirt (formality mismatch). The worst pairing would be a greenish shirt, and yellow would be a poor choice.

Most things. The trousers are drab/neutral.

Suggest you do not combine navy socks with brown/green trousers and shoes,,
