1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Yup. I mean, it sucks to have left my best friends and family, but I did it for the professional reasons: namely, a good business school story and a faster career track.

Because the world really needs more 25-year-old man-children playing Xbox and chasing tail all week? Give me a break, they're 22, not 17!

Damn? Even when I live allone it was always under $1,100... Including car operating cost. One time it was $650 a month, living in my car. This is total cost of living.

Yup, I'm definitely going to have to move when this lease ends at the end of August...

I'm at 13% of non-bonus income and its probably going to go up a ton unless I can find some sweet deals.

of course if I listen to the rent calculator here: http://www.domu.com/rent-calculator
I am apparently paying an unacceptably low amount of rent and can really afford a pretty baller place.

    south is cheap...
look at bigger cities like NYC/Boston/Philly/DC/LA/SF then cost is astronomical..
100gs is piss money, while the same 100gs can get you real far in shit holes like ATL

If I lived in NYC and I want to, I would want an reasonable cost of living raise... But being unemployed and only source of income is from the internet that's not an option... I've lived mostly on my own in shady areas to the complete ghetto. Just stayed in my own business, polite to everyone I came by, renter insurance, doberman, and a Sig Sauer 556. I never had any problems just pride of being on my own.
