I recently found out that Charles Thyrwhitt was located in NYC now I find out that Allen Edmonds is also in NYC. Kent Wang is also in NYC I have plans to visit there too, Jos A. Bank is in NYC too. I wish I would have got to visit Brooks Brothers before they went out of business. What other men's stores are worth visiting in NYC.

What isn’t in NYC?

There’s:
Paul Stuart
Bergdorf Goodman
The Armoury
Blue in Green in SoHo for denim
John Lobb
Leffot

The list goes on but that’s a start.

Lots of cool stuff in NYC. Haven't been since end 2019 as we've shut down our business travel, but off top of my head:
Crockett and Jones
Carmina
The Armoury (previously mentioned but a must visit)
If you aren't doing any MTM shirts, take a visit to the Proper Cloth showroom and have them fit you for a first try.
Turnbull and Asser
Kamakura
The Ralph Lauren mens' flagship is beautiful.

and, if you do any bespoke CMT, take a visit to Tip Top in Brooklyn to look at fabrics.

Kamakura closed up shop. Sad.

I'm not sure what you're looking for exactly, but I'm visiting next month and plan on checking out SchottNYC for their leather jackets. Proper Cloth is now on my list, too!

For The Armoury - I assume their website is roughly what I could expect visiting the store? They're highly recommended, but maybe a bit out of my league.

There are tons of little boutiques in SoHo. Worth checking out for something different.

CT, AE, and JAB are everywhere. If you're in NYC for a limited time, please don't waste at stores you can find near your home town.

Here's the Local Shopping Megathread entry for NYC on reddit. Loads of options there. Highlights include The Armoury, Carmina, Aimé Leon Dore, and Stoffa.

On a budget... Sample Sales. Thrifting. Kent Wang. Meermin would be great but it's closed for now. Black Lapel, if you want a simple MTM suit for abotu ~$500
