Was perusing my local thrift store and scored a vintage (mid 1970s) Sansui receiver so I set it up on the bookshelf next to my computer. I played records all afternoon on it but then ran a cable from the computer to the aux and been playing .flac (and a few mp3s) files stored on my NAS all night. Jesus this thing sounds sweet

I just read that Eric Clapton has issued a fourth (!!) "anti-lockdown" song, that Van Morrison supports the sentiments, and that Clapton has (even worse obviously) made more than once very racist "Keep Britain White!!!" statements on stage, in Brit venues.

Is this all true? Wow, two heroes of mine, doing this? Really sad if true.

And, if true, screw you, Eric, go write "white music" then instead of coat-tailing on the work of people you would prefer not even exist anywhere near your many mansions....

Oh for goodness sake. So what if he doesn't support interminable lockdowns and has concerns over the future of live music?

Interesting that the second he doesn't toe the party line the cancel culture brigade on Twitter are digging out drug-addled comments he made nearly half a century ago. Comments that he has repeatedly apologized for.
