I've been listening to this collection of Capitol Records recordings from David Axelrod productions allot this last year. The big recording studio A and echo chamber in the basement of a UFO shaped building in the late 6os just seems so perfect. Just need a big pair of Altec speakers to be period correct. Still good regardless of playback method today. Whole collection is worth while if you have Spotify you can access it.
