1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Cleav, Way cool! My GF and I cut a mean rug when the beat gets hot like this. We are not as good as the blonde in the vid, but we usually get a lot of attention and sometimes clear the floor. We are 70+....... and are often referred to as the cute couple as we are both under 5'4" now. I used to be a little taller, but no more.

    Cheers,

Sugar was amazing. I wore out a cassette of Copper Blue in high school. New Bob Mould album sounds really good too, but I haven't picked it up yet. You can stream it here: https://www.mergerecords.com/patch-the-sky. Sounds very Sugar-y to me. I also love that Jon Wurster is playing drums for him now.

Yeah, the CD I had was given a fair bashing!

Have to say as much as I loved them/him, I had to take a break from all things Sugar for a bit. But the love is back. Thanks for the stream link, will check it out.

    Any time!

Listening to this now, Kiran Leonard's Grapefruit. Only about halfway through but it's all over the place, and not necessarily in a bad way. First couple of songs sound like that band The Forms, circa Icarus, plus one of the artsier Tim Kinsella projects. Other bits are fleetingly reminiscent of Q and not U or similar DC sounds, like Medications. And then it got orchestral. Putting on the second record now and the start is Dirty Projector vocals over a guitar figure that's swelling into something off kilter.

Definitely need to put Copper Blue on next.

Shortly hospitalized last week for flue-like symtpoms (or so they said) but already cancelled like two shows recently. He was throwing a party last weekend. Died today. Fuck.

    Yup. :(
Anyway, we can expect lots of new Prince songs now. He's been sitting on hundreds of unreleased songs afaik.

First Gone is Gone single has been released. Pretty sweet:

The new The Limiñanas album is good too. Haven't checked out the new Benjamin Biolay album yet. Neither the John Frusciante album.

He had a sense of humour as well.
