1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Couple of Roisin Murphy tracks; absolutely loved her Moloko work (Sheffield represent!) - anyone clubbing in the early 2000s has good memories of joining in for the chorus of Sing it back! (with the infectious beats of the Boris Dlugosch remix). Good times!

Freeform Five remix for Leviathan; the bass is absolutely phenomenal, great track. Wasted on laptop speakers :)

A remix of one of the tracks from her Mi Senti EP, where she sings (covers?) Italian songs. Takes a while to get started, but the layering is aces. The Psychemagik remix (UK duo) bring in a bit of a stripped-down Tensnake atmosphere, with Roisin's dreamy vocals on top.

DJ Krush concert tomorrow. It's going to be fucking great! :slayer:

Also, the day I've listened to Tuxedomoon for the first time in a while, a member of the band died. :(

The Moody Blues- at Red Rocks in 1992 accompanied by the Colorado Symphony- A concert DVD

Good video, great audio and list. Ray Thomas was still with them, but did not look well and spent most of the concert playing tambourine and singing backup. Well worth a watch and listen...

    Cheers,

I saw these guys randomly a few months back. They're just as heavy in person.

I bet. I didn't even know what "Funeral Doom Metal" was until a couple of weeks ago and I am already obsessed with it.

You can really hear the slowcore/shoegaze roots in this.

Same here actually. I'm fairly ignorant of modern metal but a friend who is into that genre invited me along and all has been well since.

Yeah that's apparently been a bit of a trend in metal for the past few years.

Here's one that's even more shoegazey
