What music are you listening to lately?

Not judging her music (because I can't, I'm no fan of this genre, so I don't think I have the means to judge it), but I hate it when people have 0.0 facial expressions, especially when they're trying to express emotions. Too much botox?

Im not privy to her personal vanities. I would be surprised if she did. I cant argue with your preferences (something that other people - not you- in this thread should take to heart because its a "what are you listening to lately" thread not a "behold my delicate and sophisticated tastes" thread) but facial features are not my focus.

Yeah, they're not for studio albums, but they are important for live performances, imo.

Anyway, enjoy it!

18 loops of Cat Power's album vs 30 loops of The xx's. But Cat Power's is 12 minutes longer, so it's nearly break even now. ;)

This is very fine...

Thanks Penn, I thought so too. Heres a cover of an Emmylou Harris song that is almost as good as the original Plus I love the name of their band. Wrecking Ball, the album the song originally comes from is outstanding. Neil Young and Steve Earle both contribute songs and vocals.

If you like country or folk, then you should really check this guy out. He isn't extremely well known yet, but he is very talented and has some great songs.

Thanks, Texas. Folk, Country, Bluegrass, Gospel, Blues or any combination gets my attention.

It sounds like we have similar interests. I'm sure you have heard of the Avett Bros, but if you haven't then you should give them a listen.

I like dubstep, but it's gotten completely out of control lately. So I started looking for something a bit more relaxed that still contained the same basic ideas. Enter Blackmill.

I'm not a fan of dubstep, but my friends say that you might like "Pretty Lights".
