Other than Waterloo Sunset, this album was a real letdown.

I like Death of a Clown a lot from that record. (My avatar is Dave Davies performing it.) Also, I think Two Sisters is very sweet. And Harry Rag is fun. But Waterloo Sunset is in a class by itself, of course.

Jim Bryson with The Weakerthans as a back-up band. Not gonna be released for a couple more weeks but it is going to be a killer record.

I've noticed the weather this time of year negatively impacts the auditory quality of my music so I pass on listening to much. Soon though it will be time to break out the recordings again.

Stockhausen's "Examen." I just discovered this a few days ago. It seems too good to be true!

I just bought Karnivool's CD the other day.

Why can't I embed this? I put the Youtube quotes around it and it won't work...

Great, great album. The Beatles actually rehearsed the song "All Things Must Pass" during the Let It Be / Get back sessions. Check out the acoustic demos for All Things Must Pass. George is "auditioning" them for Phil Spector.

I'm running out of Keith Jarrett recordings to listen to. Anyone have some solo piano album recommendations?
