    phildo have you kopped the new rene hell record? or the new The Alps record? both are on black to comm's label, i don't know if i like the rene hell stuff but i love Le Voyage..

    no, i'm fairly new to the ambient/drone stuff and don't know a ton of artists, haven't heard of those ones.

    Heh, thought you would be on that tip. been listening to this and Paegan Terrorism Tactics a ton recently. My bandmate got me in to them; apparently he lost his virginity to Kite String.

    You're not user "Acid Bathory" on last.fm are you? because you totally should be.

    Matthew Shipp - Harmonic Disorder (2009)

    Together with Pastoral Composure, this is the Shipp album I like most. No one does it better when it comes to post bop jazz piano with the right amount of avant gardish edge.

    I like the idea of a Matthew Shipp...and enjoyed seeing him live, but have just never gotten into his albums. I'll have to look into this one.
