    Part of me deplores the sound, and part of me thinks its very Raw Power/Exile on Main Street. They do play it well, though.

    The greatest studio album of all time. I won't even listen to any arguments that say otherwise. (Sounds better in stereo than mono too.)

    I prefer the mono, but yeah it is good. They did a good job on the stereo version but all I can remember is growing up with it on mono. I can only think of one other album ever that tops it 'studio'-wise.

    You should hear that on SACD. In fact all their SACDs are breathtaking. Mobile Fidelity did the mastering.
