For some reason, nothing sounds good today unless it's hard, fast and loud.

    Ergo, Minor Threat all day.

I just got the new Paramore CD and I'm completely obsessed lol. Who else likes it?

I can't say anything about their new CD but I have to admit I actually enjoyed them a bit. I saw them live several years ago on a side stage or opening for someone and thought they had pretty good stage presence and a lot of energy...so I listened a bit of their early music. I actually ended up seeing them a second time (2-3 years ago) when I finished a final exam early, saw that they were playing a show, hopped on the CTA and bought a ticket at the door.

I had to have been the oldest person there...the show itself was ok but the crowd killed it. I think they did really well playing for someone elses [more mature] crowd but faced with a bunch of 16 year olds who would like them if they missed half their notes and couldn't sing...its like they had no incentive to try (or I was just really lucky the first time and it was their best show ever).

Now that I have destroyed any 'cred'...
