I've been listening to a bunch of Slint, but not in love with that album.

    Also playing a lot of:

    Six Organs of Admittance
    Rowland S. Howard
    Drudkh
    Leonard Cohen

Albums from 2010 that have been in my rotation:
Los Campesinos! - Romance is Boring
    Broken Bells - s/t
    Vampire Weekend - Contra
    Surfer Blood - Astrocoast

    Yeasayer - Odd Blood
Xiu Xiu - Dear God I Hate Myself

There might be some I'm forgetting. I've also been listening to Joanna Newsom a lot in anticipation of her new album. [IMG]

i've been listening to the bolded albums a lot. astrocoast is one of my favorite debuts by a band in a while. reminds me of 90s weezer a bit.

Yeah you're forgetting not be a pitchfork whore and having your taste rammed down your throat by a bunch of pasty beardos from Chicago.

exactly! if pitchfork likes it, then it must be bad! [IMG]
