1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Sad bastard melodrama. I love it. Been listening to OK Computer and Ghosts I-IV of late.

Music for rhythm-less white people with suicidal tendencies. No wonder Kunk loves this shit.

Harvey_birdman turned me on to Janelle Monae - The ArchAndroid, which currently has me enthralled. It's all over the place stylistically, but fantastic throughout.

    This is good stuff.

Just got home from seeing the Seedy Seeds, Caribou (with John Schmersal from Brainiac / Enon), and Fang Island.
Saw Holy Fuck last night, and A Place To Bury Strangers and Elf Power tomorrow night

    Fang Island was soooooooooooooo goood.

other than that, a bunch of ambient, IDM, and math rock from /mu/

This is nice, unique ambient, got anymore? And +1 to the early Aphex Twin song, still consider it some of the best electronic music I've ever heard.

^^How is that? I'm not much for John Legend but I dig The Roots. Today's selection: [IMG] This man was a R&B god. Just an amazing singing voice. He's easily #1 on my all time soul singers.

Anybody heard the new Deerhunter record? I was shocked (in a good way) - feels way more Atlas Sound than Microcastles.
