Are the other tracks as awesome as "Moth?" I've only heard "Moth," but it is right up my alley. I love that Kompakt-ish sort of techno sort of trancey melodic synthy sound.

Something about thrashy female angelo Americana music makes my yellow heart skip a beat.

This is probably old, but I heard it on a Carl Cox's Global 334 show. For the breakbeat fans.

Funny you should mention that, because The Field and Wolfgang Voigt's own projects are what spring to my mind, along with a more obvious comparison with Xtal. It's only two tracks. The other, Wolf Cub has definitely been a grower. Seems more trad, rooted in Hebden's collabs with Steve Reid, but again, there's a lot you don't pick up on with the ****** rips and it's emerged as my favourite while listening to the vinyl. But, yeah, it's not quite as blissy as Moth but still very "Kompakt".

Oh, I was under the impression that they did more than just two tracks together. Still, I'll have to check it out 'for real.'

Yeah, they are flirting with the edge of "stardom". So to speak. They were on Carson Daly a while ago.

Talked to Rich (The guitarist) and I guess Nordstrom just paid them quite a bit of money to play a fashion event up here the day before the show. By quite a bit, I mean, they bought a new tour van.

I saw them for $8 in front of a crowd of 35 people. It was awesome.

Interesting. I could never get into classical music on the radio. I really didn't start getting obsessed about it until I got a high performance set of headphones. I don't think any other genre of music is so dependent on the sound quality.
