    Please. This is embarrassing.

oh really? do you know the record? I'm not referring to the song but the whole album. (although the song itself is outstanding.) of course, coming form a dude posting about manfred mann and the allman brothers i suppose i shouldn't expect much.

My Generation is nowhere near the top 10 albums of all time. And what's wrong with Mann and the Allman Brothers?

Haven't listened to the whole album yet but definitely more mature than Cute Without The E-type stuff.

I still have yet to find a Who cd that is stellar throughout. Clearly the best song here is reign on me but the rest were just meh. Overall I give it a B.

That's a greatest hit's compilation. Doesn't count. Still an excellent collection of songs though.

Besides being a "CD" as requested, it contains songs that were not on albums, and versions that were not the ones on the original albums as well. This is 60's pre-AOR we're talking about, so it's silly to limit your search to "real albums"; you'll miss a lot that way.

You hipster. I do like some Starf***er now and then, and I can't fault you for liking. DofE. Not sure If I remember hearing the others.

Listening to a lot of Steel Pulse in the past few days, especially A Tribute to the Martyrs and Caught You. Also downloaded Country Gazette's album A Traitor in our Midst. Not bad.

I figured I'd probably get called a hipster, but I don't even own a black leather jacket! You listen to Steel Pulse, Country Gazette, and Starf***er? That's quite the well rounded music taste! The Nurses and Delta Spirit are rad, kinda sound like the Cold War Kids. Give 'em a listen!

I did not know that as I was just going off the Amazon catalog. Then this by far their best album, no contest. I can see it for miles.

All I know is that it was westside's avatar. I'm reading up on it online, but I don't know where to begin with their immense body of work.
