I thought BlacKKKlansman was Spike Lee's masterpiece. And also that by so explicitly tying it to the here and now he missed out on having a truly timeless classic.

I had never heard of this movie before yesterday. I wish I still didn't. It's like a bad sitcom pilot written by a greenhorn.

I disagree on the 1st point - didn't think the film was his masterpiece. I agree, however, on the 2nd point. The story is such an incredible true story, I have no idea why he felt the need to make it a "moment" piece. Well I know why as that's usually his style (and I more or less knew that going in).

This Midway movie looks like it's going to be extremely disappointing. Pearl Harbor 2.0.

Great movie about 5 prisoners inside British military prison in North Africa. Well acted, intense and thought provoking.

+1. If you can take it, check out 'The Brig'. Originally a play and then turned into a film based on the playwright's 30 day AWOL sentence in a Marine Corps lockup

For those of you who have seen "Takers" (now on Netflix), I only have 2 questions:
1) What happened to the rest of the movie? It just "ended" like that?
2) It just "ended" like that? What happened to the rest of the movie?

That's also called a circular reasoning 0.5/5.0 rating....

This is the “followup” to the brilliant Presumed Innocent(4/5) starring Harrison Ford.

Bill Pullman is always good.....but the makers of this film should not have bothered.

The plot was light, the suspense nonexistent and it can’t hold a candle to PI.

1.5/5.

What about that movie demanded a sequel?

Exactly. I didn’t even realize that it was a sequel until I read the summary and saw Pullman’s character’s name.

Summary-Rusty needs to defend himself when his wife is found dead 20 years after his lover was also killed....and he was acquitted.

No kidding. The original was so good.

Crazy. Not only is Bull Pullman OK but clearly no HF in that role, Alfred Molina is definitely no Raul Julia, period...end...all that. And, of course, no luminous Greta Scacchi either....

Will not watch. Thanks for the warning.
