Entertaining financial dystopian vision of South Korea as the backdrop of a good heist and revenge flick...however the ending is questionable which detracts from solid performance and direction. Found it on Netflix

It almost ruined Stallone’s career. He gained weight and did a serious role and it performed poorly. Studios lost interest because he was no longer a bankable and shredded action star.

That seems to be Stallone's story, rather than "I followed that up with Driven and a Get Carter remake that both bombed"

Dropped on HBO Max last night, planning to watch it tomorrow morning when I wake up. Anyone else going to watch this?

Cheesy as **** but great entertainment. The Kung Lao flawless victory was ******* awesome.

It was uh pretty bad. Besides a couple of moments of decent hand to hand choreography it was surprisingly drawn out and boring. Way too much plot. Should have been a tight 90, minimal plot, just tons of fights. Watching the YouTube super clips of all the fatalities from the games is more interesting tbh

I'm watching Boogie Nights for the first time in at least 20 years and holy hell the cast.

Completely forgot about John C Reilly, Don Cheadle, & Wm H Macy
