Small film with a nice premise. Clive Owen is OK but not great in this which is a shame cause I like Clive Owen. Supporting cast helps lift it over the line. Enjoyable.

It was... meh.

Some amusing parts, but it as though it was trying too hard to be funny and ironic. It really felt like a few TV comedy skits that had been stretched out into a movie.

but it seems like it recycles something from every other Daniel Crag Bond film except having a black female 007.

I don't know how much Bond or Leiter are actually going to place their work in a greater geopolitical frame but that tis a nice development that they seem to be thinking about their work as more than just a singular mission.

Unhinged Russell Crowe plays an enraged psychopath. The most ultra violent role I’ve seen him in since Hando in Romper Stomper.

Wanted to see Les Misérables but it was on at 11.30 am WTF is this crap so took in Russell...meh!

The movie was a good conceit. I was so bored during it even though I wanted to watch it. (My plan was to buy a ticket watch the start to appreciate the artistry and new technique but give myself an out if bored. Then my mom wanted to see it for her birthday. )
