I quit after Jaws 2, are you saying I should have gutted it out?

I see what you are trying to do here but I am not going to rise to the bait.

You mean the remake, right? The original was fantastic.

Absolutely the remake. As you say, the original was excellent. Somehow I also wound up watching Rock of Ages, so I doubled up on Tom Cruise shitfests this weekend.

I agree that the "War of the the Worlds" remake is bad, but I still am in awe of the sound of the tripod horn. It's haunting. I wonder if it won an Oscar for that.

Tried -but failed- to watch this. I found it very hard to follow, and this seemed intentional. I might have been tired though.

About to watch Noah

Cagney was incredible I completely failed to make the connection. I'm used to watching his pre WW2 flicks.. Wow was he good in this.
And the comedy held up 50+ years later

Watched Life of Pi again last night. Just as good as the first time. Great movie.

I also just got around to seeing Boyhood. What a way to remind me of how life jumps, I was sifting through my own personal milestones in the same manner the film shows Mason's and I can't believe I'll be graduating from University in a year.

Just watched "The counselor". Thankfully I did it while also looking at some other stuff online, if not those would`ve been 2 wasted hours I`d never get back, cause man, what a ******* snore fest. This is a quite a poor movie. And to think it stars Fassbender, Pitt, Bardem, Cruz; directed by Riddley Scott and writen by McCarthy...

Yeah, it was pretty bad. I don't mind bleak (really like The Road, for instance), but this one just didn't have any redeeming qualities.

I actually like The Counselor. First time I saw it I found it very confusing (I started early but thought I missed a ton of story line - didn't know it was meant to be that way). It's grown on me.

Saw Jodorowski's Dune last night. Something tells me it would've been a disaster if it was made but it'd have been cool to see some of the concepts seen through.

Boyhood

I sat through the whole thing just to see where it was going to end. Does that even make sense?

Anyway, it had its moments and some pretty good laughs and acting.

What was the point of the movie? Stereotypes galore?

Oh well, it was free, so...........

Cheers
