Both movies were reviewed within last 10 pages of this thread.
    Both are excellent.

I have! I likes it. The cast is very good but I think that it plays very long. They could have cut at least half an hour and still tell the story very well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Just finished watching it. Was a little slow in parts for my taste, but well done. Crooked, dark humor and some nice scenery. Actually gave me the jones and the sadness of realizing it's been a few years since I've been skiing.

Testament of Youth it deals with the English lost generation of the Great War and with the 100th celebrations in full swing it provided an antidote to some of the jingoistic BS those events have bought forth. Very moving and a great story.

The short blurb made me think this was exactly like "Sinister" with Ethan Hawke. I think this was the better of the two by far.

Rewatching Armageddon, the Michael Bay movie (written by J.J. Abrams, btw). Spectacularly great bad film. Everything about it is without intelligence, culture, or good taste. Yet I keep watching.

Rather fed up with comic book movies lately (which for some reason gather huge amounts of hype and surprisingly high review scores, without there often being much there). Stayed away from reviews before this one, and kept the expectations down, and I think it payed off. Considering the large cast, it's rather impressive how Whedon jugles them all, and even more impressive how he balances the action with some pretty funny banter. I could've done with maybe a few dozen city blocks less being destroyed, but I guess that's unavoidable at this point. Spader was great. 3/5

Nah , it looks like a lot of bad make up and rehashed scene from "Good Fellows".

Movies like these should be taxed at 98% rate by the government and funds reinvested in failing education.

okay so if there was a movie that came close to good fellas you would be upset? I will be seeing this regardless because I have loose family ties with WB (his sister was my grandmothers maid of honor and he took her for a ride in high school in a stolen car and dumped it in the quarry from gone baby gone) My family had a running joke about my grandmother hiding him in her basement for like 12 years.
