Rewatched Amelie recently. The film referenced Jules et Jim (many times), The 400 Blows, and Shoot the Piano Player so I rewatched them too.

Just rewatched Natural Born Killers and Jackie Brown this weekend. Great flicks, the story in Jackie Brown is great, another strong woman story from Tarantino. Also he is racking up quite the repretoire for really entertaining films! LIke it or not, he will be celebrated for years to come...

I liked it but it wasn't great....a good 90-minute streaming option though. Lots of great little pieces of chicago and a trip to michigan that reminded me of the sorely missed cottage my grandparents used to own.

Filmed at a great local brewery and it was fun seeing a bunch of random beer nerd things...drinking at a bar I was at on friday, drinking actual beers/wearing swag from local brewers.

Was interesting to discover that most of the dialog was ad-libbed.

Mobius - Franco-Anglo-Russo spy/banking thriller. Rather good.
To Have and have not- another classic Bogey film with some great one-liners. The brunette is rather fetching too.
