Will do, when I get the chance.

It looks like the third has gotten even worse reviews than the second, and that one was one of the worst films I've seen in recent years. Actually, as much as I like Liam N, I found the first Taken highly overrated, but lately I've been thinking about giving it a second chance.

(I'll probably be in the minority on this, but I was much better entertained by Tom C's Jack Reacher...)

Cool, please to report back when you have watched it. : )

I thought Taken was awesome. Taken 2 was not awesome. Ill watch Taken 3 if only to complete the cycle.

It has little or no connection to previous movies, which had a bit of Borne Idnetity vibe. Taken 3 takes place entirely on the set in US. Leam looks and moves like an old man , jittery camera is annoying as fuck, the story is boring.

Watch Crank instead you will have a blast.

Cake - with Jennifer 'die already' Aniston is unbearable. Making her a victim of accident that walks around the set without make up doesn't make a good acting. I am glad this movie was ignored.

    Already watched Crank.

Honestly tho, I am going to see Taken 3. I may wait for the streaming release, but I will see it. I am committed to completing the cycle.

If you have not watched Crank 2 you have not completed your cycle ...

Birdman was horrible!!! I am so confused how people think this was a good movie. All characters were unlikable!! I didn't care what happened to any of them. Boring, boring, boring. Not smart at all...

Whiplash on the other hand was a masterpiece... Many life dynamics in that film.

Two Days, one Night was excellent. Marion Cotilard should get best Oscar even if she won't.
Imagine J Moore will for Still Alice, which was also excellent.

    Agree about Whiplash- excellent.

Looking fwd to seeing Leviathan which has been highly praised.

I admire his blue collar attitude and objective analysis of his movies: "You ain't ever gonna get an Academy Award for doing Crank and you certainly won't for doing all the other movies I've done."

May be true, but he makes entertaining movies, and I'm looking forward to Fast & Furious 7, in part to see him as the bad guy.

I am not much a fan of the genre, but this retrospective of MGM musicals was enjoyable:

I don't know why you would see a Taken sequel after the first one was such shit. It was the most pathetic sort of wish fulfillment for a father who kills terrorists to save his daughter's virginity.

Thats awesome, and his movies definitely are entertaining.

Will not see F&F7 though, as I have not seen a single movie from the series.

American Sniper. I thought it was superb and I hope BC wins the Oscar, but no way the liberals allow it. It was a gem of a movie.

As an aside, I really would love to see The Grand Budapest Hotel win best picture. And JK Simmons for best supporting too, he is awesome. Always been a fan of his work.

American Sniper, to me, was like a hybrid of Top Gun and Captain America.

American Sniper, to me, was like Bespoke Crocs with Cuban heels.

It was made by liberals. Remember, The Hurt Locker also won best picture. I agree, I think Bradley Cooper deserves to win, but the Academy is notorious for making people "pay their dues first". I have a feeling it will be Benedict Cumberbach.
