finally watched iron man 3. did not hate it, i thought it was good to ok. started very slow, but got moving after about 35 minutes. ben kingsley was hilarious, maybe the best part of the movie.

was this supposed to be the end of a trilogy or something?

I thought it was great.

I thought Lavant was great.
In fact, I enjoyed every minute but could not get past the talking limos, which apparently is the film's essence.
I guess I missed something.

Haywire; enjoyable, gratuitous violence on a furloughed afternoon. I did like Gina Carano and she had an awesome cast for such a popcorn flick--Fassenberg, Douglass, Bandaras, C. Tatum (!), and Ewan MacGregor. And now that her name is being tossed around as the next Wonder Woman, I'm more intrigued.

So do you love it or hate it? You must choose one

True :p

I enjoyed parts of it, but disliked others. Maybe I shouldn't have labelled it a love or hate film...:embar:

Keep going back to this from Holy Motors...

Haywire was a good movie, but she's not a strong actor- the others did the heavy lifting, plotwise, in the movie. She's best with minimal dialog; I don't think she can carry a movie that requires more from her than kicking people's asses.

Gravity is really that good. Go see it, IMAX 3D if possible. It's beautiful.

I read that last line as "licking people's asses". Shows where my mind is.

Glad to hear this. I've really been looking forward to seeing it, and I'd hate to hear it wasn't any good.
